As far as I know A.I.T. and Rapiscan are two different makers of machines that perform the same function in different ways. Rapiscan machines use the more damaging back scatter X rays not A.I.T. A.I.T use millimeter wave energy which is way lower in the electromagnetic spectrum and doesn’t pose the same threat as the other option.
